ABOUT ME
I was born in Evanston Illionois and moved to Traverse City Michigan in 1996. I am very passionate about education, child and animal rights, affordable higher education, and warn vetran issues. I enjoy weightlifting, swimming, canoeing, hiking, ziplining, and traveling to waterparks and themeparks across the country.

I enjoy and have had experience with instructing students to form research proposals, triangulate research methods, formulate testable hypotheses, and apply suitable designs to variables of interest in realms of psychology, sociology, public health, and socioculturle issues.

I am particularly interested in muscle dysmorphia and the comorbidity of body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and obsessive complusive disorder.
Eating Disorders in Men and Women
Exploring gender differences and similiarties with the consideration for the dynamic of nutritional intake and exercise dependence in relation to eating disorders is a growing and exciting field.
Addiction
I am interested in all aspects of addiction, especially those that transcend traditional psychoactive substance abuse and consist of obsessive behaviors and food and exercise addictions.
